Streamate Spotlights Savannah Sly as December 'Elevate' Community Partner

SEATTLE — Streamate has selected New Moon Network founder and co-director Savannah Sly as its Elevate Community Partner for December.

Recently appointed to the board of directors of the Free Speech Coalition, Sly plays an active role on the global steering committee of the Sex Work Donor Collaborative and serves as a board member of the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, the sole organization in the U.S. dedicated to upholding sexual freedom as a fundamental human right.

“It’s been an incredible privilege to collaborate with Savannah Sly, who has truly been a shining beacon of inspiration for so many in our community,” said a rep. “Her words and unwavering commitment to advocating for sex worker rights continue to inspire and uplift us all. We are deeply grateful for her support of Elevate and its mission.”

The collaboration between Sly and Elevate features a one-on-one interview hosted by Vanessa Eve and directed by feminist porn filmmaker Inka Winter. In the interview, titled “Powerful Advice for Sex Work Organizers and Advocates,” Sly discusses the connections between adult industry sectors, her New England upbringing, and her advice for sex work organizers and advocates, among other topics.

Added Sly, “I’m thrilled to partner with Elevate to uplift the exciting momentum behind the growing movement for sex workers’ rights and what it means for the adult industry. I look forward to discussing the relevance of our movement and what we can do to support its success.”
